Sabomnim Dan

I'm 32 this year which makes it 21 years I have been practising MA. I have attended any number of lectures and practical seminars and classes of just about every style I could get access to. I've also participated in a number of programs for disadvantaged youth aimed at improving confidence, self-esteem and self-respect.

I started MA at 11 years old with WTF Taekwondo in which I hold 4th Dan. I also hold a 7th Kyu in Jujitsu which I trained in for 2 years until my Sensei had to take time off due to her health (sadly she is no longer with us). I'd have graded higher but with one Dan rank already I was more concerned with learning technique than attaining more ranks (to my Sensei's frustration).

I have been teaching in the Taekwondo club I started with for the past 12 years as well as our affiliated clubs. I am yet to open a club of my own due to the demands of a young family and the irregular hours that come with working in Law Enforcement.
