Indeed. I'm a karate fighter myself (okinawan koryu, so trained in stand up striking and grappling and ground fighting and grappling).
Checked out NAS before, pretty pants to be honest, their rulesets are a joke and I've heard they're very political in their refereeing.
I may check WUMA out since they have some full contact events on their calendar.

I wrote that thread about NAS and the referees are abit of a joke too every technique i tried seemed to upset them and i lost by fouls not my opponent ... i thought i won my fight though for some reason the capoeira guys were getting away with spinning roundhouse kicks in the head ... not that i let them land 1 on me ;)

Pulled both sets of gluteals and jar my shoulder jumping a stupid gap yesterday. Bright side is front, side and back flips looking good! :)

I am probably going to regret the fact that this evening I have drunk 3 cans of Relentless apple and kiwi.

Let go from my crap job. Worst time of year for it. Upside, focus on spending time with my missus and son and train like a nutcase.

Martial artist, traceur, father to two and so far life survivalist.
Working hard to try and make a good home for my family in a crap catch 22 situation. I'm not the only one out there doing it, but goddam it's hard sometimes.

I'm just glad I have awesome sons and a really supportive fiancée behind me. They give me the strength to get out of bed in the morning even when I just want to hide from the world.
