When you find someone, whose idea of life and what it should be, and right and wrong, and just always seems to know the answers to your un-vocalised questions. That then is truly a master.

Can you reiterate that first bit?
Whose idea of life and what it should be....................

We all need our own masters. From the noblest noble, to the lowest of scum we all need a master and direction. Those whose ideas of life coincide with our own. Those are the ones we should seek out. Those whose coincide, yet don't leave us un-challenged. What's life without some complex thought to test your mind eh?

Fair enough. Makes sense to me.
Well there's always been a few people I've looked up to and learned from...
Just never one sole man (or woman) who's encompassed it all.

and that's fine too. Who ever said a master had to be one person? I learn so much from all my sensai's at my dojo. Hell one of them I look up to the most is 5 years younger than me! :P

Well likewise, if I'm ever in Vic, I'll look you up. We can get together and exchange pointers or I'll attend a couple of your classes.

lol I only teach at my club and I teach the juniors. And also since I'm just a starting teacher i get very little chance to solo a class. you could crash at my place and come out to my dojo if you wanted :P

That's what I was hoping :P Check out the dojo...and I AM a junior. I don't know Karate :P Or is Junior an age thing rather than rank?
    haha
I wouldn't be a very good house guest. I'd need to map out your house and hide a few knives around. Doesn't make for pleasant dinner conversation.

why...why would you hide knives around my house??? and also, why would you map it out? :P

It's a really long and violent story.
But I'd need to know escape routes, who sleeps where, how the doors open...goes on and on.
It's not something that most people want to know or deal with.

I'm not most people. But really, you'd be totally safe at my place. We get like NO trouble from anyone. I have several wooden weapons and a metal stage sword in my room and also the loungeroom and my bedroom are right next to the front door. No need to fret :P

Well my psych tells me it'll be a couple of years before I can stop worrying about it... So regardless of how safe you feel...my mind still won't settle until it gets what it wants.

I've been through similar circumstances, though I acknowledge probably not to this degree. But still, as long as I know you're no danger to me or my family, you'd be quite welcome at my place. If we could keep it quiet, I'd probably help you map out my house and hide knives :P Don't worry about getting judged or anything. Especially not by me.

Well I was told because of what's wrong with me, it'll be a while before I can stop giving people a list of "don't say/do this, and if I get a nightmare, I may leave the house for x period of time. Don't freak out."
It's not that I'm a threat to you..It's just small things to help me function around people for prolonged periods of time.

That's understandable and totally fine by me. I know you're not a threat. But anything I could do that would make you feel more comfortable around my home would be done. My family, especially me, wouldn't want any guest to feel unsafe at our home.

    2nd issue. There's a 50/50 chance I'll have my girlfriend with me :P

If there's something to do aside from train and see cousins, I'll definitely have her with me. haha

Your family may not be so accommodating to a couple they've never met before.

I will admit, that would be an issue. It wouldn't be if it was just you, cuz you're a friend. But having your girl over too, that wouldn't sit well with my family. I wouldn't have too much of an issue with it but yeah, we don't have the space for two people. But I'm sure there'd be plenty to do if the occasion of you visiting ever arose :P You like games?

    Indeed I do like games..
I only mention it because if I would be going down to Vic, it'd either be to see my cousins and check out some training halls, or to go do stuff with the lady.
    So considering those options...
You have a 50/50 chance. (I don't see my cousins often, and with good reason. Their mother is nuts.)

Lol. So there's games, training, cousins. Would you wanna go to the city? There's a but-load of awesome shops around there :P

You know, the more stuff you give me to do, the greater chance the girlfriend will come and that means less of a chance for me to arm your house :P hahaha

Personally, I'm more than happy to just see the cousins for a couple of days and train for a little bit before heading back.
It's not like I'd be able to stay down there very long with Uni starting soon.
