It should be anata ga daisuki desu. Could be translate as I really like you and can mean I love you. Desu should always be at the end and marks politeness when speaking. Ai is the Japanese word for love so to truly say I love you in Japanese would be aishite imasu.
The Nihongo (Japanese) BSC is using is incorrect grammer wise. If you ever do want to learn send me a message and I'll provide several good resources that are free.

When I was active from before and reading his posts his Japanese wasn't the best then either. If you ever do visit Japan learning Japanese is a great tool to have. You'll find your relationships even better and any gap in translation regarding technique filled. And it's also fun getting drunk with the senior level black belts and doing karaoke.
One day when I get the chance I would love too. I have spent one night in Narita while on my way to Turkey. So I can say that I have been to Japan, just not seen it :)
